I thought it appropriate to give birth to my new project “Sunset Canyon” with its first tune “Synchronicity” as I celebrate my own. So here it is. A square box with overlaid images from super 8 reels that means the world to me. It’s more than the process of converting sound waves and film into 1s and 0s but a FEELING. A feeling of when you go out and search for inspiration to make art and it finds you. Things happen at just the right time and something clicks. Synchronicity. Almost like deja vu. When it happens you know it like it’s happened before but it’s new. When you get used to it happening you expect it. You show up for it. Create it.
