Way Back Home is an artist’s prayer asking to get back to creativity. I wrote the prayer when I was struggling with art going on creative u-turns. Once you pick back up your craft and get some momentum going it’s a comforting feeling to know no matter where you are or fear of where you might have to go, you have your art. Art can be very therapeutic in battling anxiety and depression. One might come to a realization the cause of much anxiety and fear is giving into resistance to your passion for art.

Artists are cartographers mapping out our world and here with this song and video I’ve mapped out my own experience in this world. I hope it inspires you to keep creating and if you have made a creative u-turn I recommend getting back to your creativity. I’ve made many u-turns and am thankful for the comfort art gives me during these uncertain times when art might be the only thing I know for certain will help me persevere.
